About Us
Victorian Perfusion Specialists (VPS) is a privately owned, proprietary limited organisation providing perfusion services to hospitals across Victoria.
Our expertise and perfusion services include, but are not limited to, cardiopulmonary bypass, autotransfusion, intra-aortic balloon pumping, venous-venous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VV ECMO) and venous-arterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VA ECMO).
We commit to optimal patient care by providing highly qualified perfusionists with strong communication skills, certified by the Australian and New Zealand Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ANZCP).
Round the clock patient care is assured by provision of a reliable 24/7 on-call emergency service to support patients and staff across the emergency, intensive care, cardiology and surgical departments.
VPS was established to meet a critical need in the Perfusion services Victoria market – a perfusion service that integrates proven quality management systems into a field that has been lacking clinical and quality governance. In doing so, we seek to provide ‘World Class’ service and expertise in extracorporeal circulatory support technologies and medicine.
